A commitment to quality, safety and the environment
System Edström has underlined its commitment to meeting the highest standards of quality and service with its achievement of the ISO 9001 quality management, 14001 environmental management and 45001 occupational health and safety management standards.
The company underwent a BSI audit for the standards earlier this year. System Edström chose auditing by BSI to ensure it meets the highest possible standards.
The audit showed that the company “operates operating an effective management system that can demonstrate continuous improvement both in its management systems and its infrastructure”.
The Northants-based van racking solutions provider has benefited from significant investment by its Swedish parent over the past year. As well as introducing a new logo and branding, and a range of innovative products, the investment has helped the company towards its organisational goals.
Ben Huskisson, Works Manager at System Edström, said: “ISOs are a set of internationally recognised standards of best practice that ensure products and services a company provide are safe, consistent, reliable and of good quality.”
Achieving these important standards is a real demonstration of System Edström’s dedication to giving its customers the reassurance that they are dealing with one of the best run and reliable players in the market. It is the next step in a major programme of ongoing investment that the company hopes will make it the first choice for commercial vehicle owners and fleet managers when it comes to van racking.
